Bengaluru: Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has once again planned to take a three-day leave from work and head to a resort in Coorg. Kumaraswamy will be accompanied by his wife Anitha and son Nikhil.

Kumaraswamy had just resumed his work after a five-day trip to Kapu, Udupi, for rejuvenation and naturopathy treatment at a resort.

MyNation tried contacting JD(S) spokesperson Tanveer Ahmed but refused to give his reaction on chief minister’s another trip.

Speaking to MyNation, BJP MLC Ashwathnarayana said, "It does not make any difference if Kumaraswamy is in Bengaluru or in Vidhana Soudha. It is like the state running without the government. Recently, two children in Bagepalli died after eating mud because of starvation. Kumaraswamy did not take any action against it. This is the worst government I have seen so far. Siddaramaiah and Dinesh Gundu Rao back only other Congress leaders. For Kumaraswamy, there is nobody to question him. That is the reason he is taking his own decisions."

The BJP leader further said that the coalition government's both leaders have to talk about the ongoing issues in the state. But, the Cabinet ministers are confused about who's words they should follow, he added.

Before Kumaraswamy's temple run and trips in Karnataka, Congress Legislature Party (CLP) president Siddaramaiah had also been to Madikeri along with his MLA son Yatindra and stayed in Ibnii resort.
