New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are busy. The ED is grilling Robert Vadra while the CBI is questioning the Kolkata police commissioner Rajeev Kumar in different cases.

Another round of questioning is scheduled for Sunday too. Vadra and Kumar's questioning has already started in Delhi and Shillong respectively.

The ED, which is probing alleged money laundering case against Vadra, has already questioned him for 15 hours.

Sources have confirmed that Vadra is not giving satisfactory replies to the queries of the ED officers. Vadra is also facing allegations that he directly or indirectly purchased properties abroad from alleged kickbacks from a government deal.

Vadra has already denied all the allegations levelled against him. On the first day of questioning, Vadra’s wife and Congress general secretary Priyanka Vadra dropped him at the ED office.

On the other hand in Shillong, the CBI has started grilling Kumar. He reached the CBI office around 10:55 AM on Saturday. The CBI has also summoned Trinamool Congress (TMC) member of parliament Kunal Ghosh to join the investigation on Sunday. The CBI has also deployed 10 officers to grill Kumar.

Kumar is facing allegations of favouring the accused in the Saradha chit fund scam. The CBI told the Supreme Court that Kumar had also destroyed evidences against the accused and did not hand over important files related to the chit fund scam.

Both the agencies have prepared almost three dozen of questions to ask Kumar and Vadra.
