New Delhi: Zomato has been grabbing a lot of attention on social media for its good service. In a heart-warming gesture the Indian restaurant search and discovery service company gifted a differently abled delivery agent with an electric vehicle.

Ramu Sahu, a resident of Beawar in Rajasthan received tons of goodwill on social media after a video of him delivering food on a hand-powered vehicle made the rounds.

Zomato’s CEO, Deepinder Goyal recognized Ramu’s sincere efforts and decided to surprise him with an electrical vehicle to help him deliver food more conveniently. He also took to Twitter to share pictures of Ramu doing delivering food with his vehicle. “Our delivery partner Ramu Sahu has gracefully accepted the electric vehicle that we were keen on him having.” he wrote.

Ramu even thanked Zomato for making it easier to bear with the hurdles in his life.

Netizens are all too happy with the way Zomato is helping the delivery boy. While few Twitter users praised Zomato for the heart-warming gesture, others looked at Ramu as a source of inspiration.

A Twitter user, Honey Goyal tweeted stating that Ramu is an inspiration for all who think that their life is hopeless.

Apart from earning Zomato loads of goodwill on social media, the videos also called upon other companies to offer employment opportunities for differently abled people.

This is not the first time Zomato has received heaps of praise on the internet. A few days ago, a delivery boy from Zomato had grabbed headlines for helping underprivileged kids by feeding them food from cancelled orders.
