Mumbai: If you thought Ranveer Singh could have inspired his to-be bride to experiment with her wedding look, you are sadly mistaken. Actor Deepika Padukone, who will be tying the knot with Bollywood's biggest fashion chameleon aka Ranveer, has opted for the beaten route and commissioned designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee to design her bridal lehenga.

The couple is getting married on November 14-15 and while rumours were rife that Mukherjee would be the man for the wedding lehenga, the designer took to Instagram to confirm the news himself. He posted an image of Deepika rocking a sari in 'Sabyasachi Red'.

The master couturier also worked his magic for actor Anushka Sharma's wedding with a blush, British rose-hued lehenga with embroidery. Padukone has often been spotted his saris too for many red carpet events. It remains yet to be seen if DeePee would opt for a lehenga or sari by the designer or if in fact, it would be in 'Sabyasachi red'?
