Cuttack:  The examination committee of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), has still not decided the course of action against the loss of 108 Mathematics answer sheets, which are missing since the matric examination conducted recently in Odisha.

Due to negligence in the conduct of the English exam another 500 students' fate is in limbo as the paper got canceled amid unfair practices by the students from three schools in Cuttack, Balangir, and Dhenkanal while attempting the matriculation exam.

BSE secretary Ramshis Hazra said "Although, the members of the examination committee discussed at length about certain other aspects of the Matriculation examination, they could not arrive at a final decision on the fate of the 108 students, whose answer sheets are still untraceable".

Earlier the answer sheets of 108 students who attempted the matriculation examination from a govt-run Podia SSD High school were found missing after the invigilators had collected them, on March 2. Soon the examination committee will be conducting another meet to resolve the issues.
