Mumbai: Fans of Shah Rukh Khan woke up to a pleasant surprise on Thursday as the superstar unveiled posters of his upcoming movie Zero.

The movie also features Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Two posters have been released on social media, the first featuring Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan in a romantic pose, and the other shows SRK having fun with Anushka Sharma in Connaught Place, New Delhi.

 

SRK shared the poster of him and Katrina on Twitter and wrote, "itaaron ke khwaab dekhne walon, humne toh chaand ko kareeb se dekha hai. #ZeroPoster #KatrinaKaif @aanandlrai @RedChilliesEnt @cypplOfficial."

He shared the poster of himself and Anushka and wrote, "Iss poori duniya mein, meri barabari ki ek hi toh hai#ZeroPoster @AnushkaSharma @aanandlrai @RedChilliesEnt @cypplOfficial.(SIC)"

Introducing Anushka’s character, director Anand L Rai tweeted, “Zindagi mein dukhi rahne ke hazaar kaaran hai, kush rahne ka sirf ek...ki jab koi pyaar se kahe ki ‘hass do’ to has do! Meri kahaani ka sabse hasta chehra! (SIC)”

Kaif and Sharma also took to social media to share their respective posters.

Anushka tweeted it with the caption, “Dekhiye toh zara! Abhi tak haan naa kuch bhi nahi bola hai isey, aur phir bhi kitna khush lag raha hai Waise jodi buri nahi hai :) kya kehte ho?(SIC)”

Meanwhile, Katrina shared it on Instagram along with the caption, “Aasmaan se zameen pe aane ki dikkat hi ye hai ki jab aao koi na koi gale pad jaata hai! (SIC)”

The trailer of Zero will be released at a grand event in Mumbai, on SRK's birthday tomorrow. According to reports, the makers will recreate Meerut city for the launch complete with the along and a mela that would have food and game malls.

Zero revolves around Bauua, a vertically challenged man, played by SRK. Katrina plays an actor battling alcoholism and Anushka is reportedly playing a scientist.

Speaking about the film title director Aanand L Rai had told PTI, "I wanted to celebrate Zero. I wanted to celebrate the incompleteness in people. There is nothing great in being a complete person. There is a beauty to incompleteness. We all are humans and Zero comes from there."

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions, the movie is all set to hit screens on December 21.
