Bengaluru: South Indian adult film star Shakeela will be playing cameo in her biopic, which is directed by Indian filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh. In the biopic of Shakeela, Richa Chadha will be playing the role of Shakeela. Before the shooting began, Richa and Shakeela had a meeting together in Bengaluru. Witnessing the bond between the actors, director Indrajit Lankesh roped in the real Shakeela for a cameo in his film.

Speaking exclusively to MyNation, director Indrajit Lankesh said, "Yes, she (Shakeela) is doing a cameo, and it is a great feeling to learn from her and also have her to be a part of the film as well. Her response was fantastic, and she's still active, and we got to capture her in her true sense."

By witnessing the chemistry between Richa and Shakeela, Indrajit said, “Their bond is superb. Richa is an actor, who will get into the skin of the character, and Shakeela expressed herself beautifully, and Richa was able to learn directly from her and observe the little things about her behaviour and improve her performance.

In fact, I left them alone and let them both have some time together to get to know each other better," he added.

Richa Chadha made her first debut in the film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! Back in 2008, she worked as a supporting actress in several films. Richa is now all set to star in the biopic of Shakeela, one of the most prominent actresses from Kerala in the '90s, who acted in multilingual movies.

The film narrates the life of Shakeela, from the time she entered the film industry at the age of 16. Shakeela went on to become a leading adult film star, with her films being not only dubbed in languages across India, but in Chinese, Nepalese and other languages too.
