Kartik feels that the definition of stardom is changing and social media is responsible for it. He said, “I feel stardom is changing. It is our bad luck that we will not be able to experience stardom because lives of stars are no longer shrouded in mystery. What are they eating, where are they going everything is out there, thanks to social media. Hence stars who have spent 25-30 years in the industry and reached this level of stardom, we will not be able to do that.” But, does that mean Kartik will not be there in Bollywood after 25 years? The actor smiled, “I want to be lambi race ka ghoda and presently trying to create my position in the industry. Shah Rukh sir (Khan) is my inspiration.” The actor also expressed a desire to act in a Shah Rukh Khan biopic if it is ever made.
